Aiming For The Perfect Green

Delton Cabinets has been providing cabinetry to the Edmonton area since 1958. Not only does manufacturing our cabinets locally allow us to oversee the quality of production, it limits shipping costs and the environmental impact of shipping. Our facilities are located in Edmonton’s Northwest Industrial Park. They include 25,000 sq. ft. of showroom and administration offices as well as 60,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space.

Our cabinet boxes are available with ECO, “Green” NAUF melamine and help achieve up to 9 LEED credits for your project. Our melamine performance and durability is in compliance with ANSI A208.1-2009 and is CARB (phase 2) approved. This means that the VOC emission of this particleboard already complies with the air emission standard set in California. This non-added urea formaldehyde (NAUF) particleboard combines the following mix of environmentally sustainable materials:

All of the wood for our cabinet doors is supplied by FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) or SFI (Sustainable Forestry Initiative) certified companies, who can provide wood products that are harvested in a sustainable manner. We also offer water-borne finishes with the following benefits:

The staff at Delton Cabinets is always looking for ways to reduce our carbon footprint and contribute to a cleaner environment for future generations. Surplus materials and cabinet components that do not meet our manufacturing standards are donated to Habitat for Humanity. We recycle most of our paper, plastic, cardboard, glass, metal, chemicals and solid wood products. We are proud to offer a variety of “Green” options to our customers.
